What I’m trying to express is a conjecture about what the future of herbarium will be under the influence of humans and the Metaverse. The purpose of the work is to express the concept of post-humanity. What will be the consequences of human beings’ worship and fear of artificial intelligence, while destroying and demanding nature?
I use three forms to represent the evolution of plant specimens, real plants, 3D printed plants and digital plants.
While collecting real plants I found that there are many breeds of Davidia in London, but there is only one real Davidia in London. For the 3D printed plants, I chose to model and print with nomad in the same way as the previous work. On the digital plant, I used AI to automatically generate a plant based on Davidia.
