Aldehyde NO.1 is a fictitious advertisement for a formaldehyde-removing drug. Because my research direction this semester is the plant of the future, an imagination of what will happen when the plant of the future is used as a symbol and given the definition of good health.

Nasa also published an article saying that some plants are suitable for aldehyde removal, but I think that in the future, when technology is highly developed and nature is severely damaged, plants may no longer be things that may be raised at home. Plants will Become a symbol or something full of technology. Because people trust advertising and trust authority, even if a health supplement is not as effective as advertised, people will still buy it and use it.

So this ad I made is false, a satire of these phenomena. There are capsule bottles, which are actually plastic landscape grass, but people don’t really care what its ingredients are. There are also posters and video ads. Although this advertisement has only one picture, I want to express a sense of the future, a kind of stream of consciousness, just like the background voice is also speaking of artificial intelligence, which is a kind of conjecture about the consequences of anthropocentrism in the future development.
